Red Maple continually supports new releases from Microsoft. Generally, a prior version of Red Maple will work on a newer version of Microsoft, however, not all features are available out of the box in all versions. It is suggested regression testing always be performed.

QUESTION: I am trying to Void a transaction. Why is the Void not occurring?
A void can only be consistently performed on the same day as the originating transaction.

QUESTION: What is Level 2/Level 3 processing?
Additional data is passed from the software to the processor about the transaction which must be a B2B or a B2G transaction (B2C transactions are ineligible). This data is used by the processor to validate more data therefor lowering the risk on the transaction. When merchants use Level II and Level III, the interchange rate is lowered due to the reduced risk which saves the merchant money on the credit card fees.
